The Team
The Data Governance Office, fitting within the Analytics & Business Intelligence Department, is responsible for enabling business to make trustable decisions by enhancing reliability of the data through establishing sustainable data processes, creating awareness across the organization and implementing data flow processes following the first-time-right approach. This is a highly motivated team with the passion for the data.
The Position
We are seeking innovative, talented candidates to join our agile and rapidly growing cross-functional team as a UX / UI designer.
This role's primary responsibilities include overseeing the design part of the freshly built internal web-based application for the creation, tracking and automated execution of requests for the backend setup of new stores. The product has an impressive roadmap with the ambition to expand the scope with new challenging features coming up.
You will be part of one of our multidisciplinary Agile/Scrum team, where you will work with developers, test engineers and product owner. In strong partnership with the product owner you will make sure that all the specifications and (edge) cases are developed completely.
This position is based in our headquarter in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. We have an international environment where our standard language is English.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actualizing of the existing prototype in Figma;
- Adapt existing design to conform department style guidelines;
- Gather the requirements from stakeholders and/or end users;
- Design new content modules/components and layout for new features of the web- application;
- Conduct layout adjustments based on feedback;
- Validate the implementation from the design point of view.
The perfect candidate:
- 3-5 years of working experience as a UI/UX designer;
- You can underpin your design skills with an impressive portfolio of inspirational and elevated designs;
- You are familiar with Figma design tool;
- You like the challenge of translating complex features to a user-friendly interface;
- You have excellent communication skills in English to present your designs to other teams and you are good at communicating with stakeholders, users and developers;
- Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment is a strong plus.
