The Position
As part of cloud engineering for Ecom B2C, as a technical product owner your role will include alignment with business stakeholders on functional requirements and with technical counterparts on delivery strategy;

You will be responsible for the development, design, quality, and support in the production of all the infrastructure of B2C eCommerce platforms/systems. Quality, performance under load, observability, and building portable and reusable solutions are key. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing product delivery for B2C Cloud Engineering team (DevOps)
  • Gathering business requirements
  • Aligning with multiple stakeholders across Ecom, Retail, Marketing, Technology and others
  • Creating the roadmap for the target solution
  • Researching potential 3d party systems
  • Playing an active role in resource planning and hiring needed to deliver on the roadmap
  • Communicating with vendors and partners on standards and expectations
  • Leading a transparent, data-driven prioritization process with the goal of delivering value every sprint
  • Transforming business-driven ideas and wishes into a structured yet agile development agenda and roadmap for the initiative
  • Participating in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures
  • Being a strong technical counterpart and trusted resource for non-technical Product Owners in the larger organization.
     

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 3+ years of experience in Product Ownership / Technical Product Ownership
  • Experience in Program Management is a plus
  • Driving adoption of best-practices of collaborative work delivery (i.e. Agile, Lean)
  • Experience with clear goal-setting and data-driven validation (product and process)
     

Background in software development is a plus

  • Technically hands-on, can help diagnose issues or expand the detail behind a bug report.
  • Good understanding of high-level software architecture
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services products is a strong plus
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills with the ability to explain advanced technical products to non-technical members of the organization.
  • Experience in fostering “we build it, we run it” cultur
  • Statistical/qualitative/quantitative analysis and reporting (verbal and written)
  • Working experience in collaboration with vendors and partners
