The Position:
The project manager is requested to onboard 2 strategic partners into the Retail Technology domain to provide development capacity and operational support. The position reports into the Head of Retail Technology.

The projects:
You will work with the 3 teams in the retail technology domain to onboard 2 partners. Activities are already in flight.

  • One partner who will provide 2nd and 3rd level support activities for our POS application and the RFID Solutions. The vendor will also provide on-site retail lab management.
  • The other partner is providing consultancy and developments for our POS application landscape.
     

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years managing IT related projects
  • Utilizes methodologies and tools for both Waterfall and Agile.
  • Experience managing projects using SmartSheet or Microsoft Project
  • Experience in outsourcing projects
  • Transition Management skills (ie: Prosci Framework)
     

Qualifications:

  • Experience with the planning and execution of projects and risk mitigation strategies
  • Experience with project management execution in a modern software environment via multiple methodologies
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools
  • Demonstrating proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of the best practices for project management
  • Superb organizational skills and keen attention to detail
  • Be able to communicate clearly and concisely with diverse audiences, in both oral and written contexts, and are comfortable giving and receiving feedback

Project activities:
70% - Delivery & Execution:

  • Executes project scoping and manages scope for medium complexity projects
  • Creates, monitors, tracks, and adjusts project plans based on critical milestones
  • Conducts budget planning and manages budget
  • Develops and communicates weekly status updates highlighting any potential issues, including schedule, resource, cost, and risks
  • Documents and applies lessons learned
  • Understands organizational goals and apply to project work
  • Forecasts timelines, budget needs, and resource needs with accuracy
  • Completes project artifacts
     

20% - Monitoring:

  • Identifies, defines, and makes recommendations to mitigate risks
  • Manages projects in adherence with PVH compliancy regulations
  • Works with project teams and 3rd party partners to ensure critical dependencies remain unthreatened
  • Captures and drives issues to resolution
     

10% - Administration & Operations:

  • Creates, documents, and posts project artifacts to centralized repositories
  • Facilitates the onboarding and ramp up of new project team members
