The Team
Tommy Hilfiger Europe is based in the Amsterdam European HQ. Tommy Hilfiger Planning&Buying Team plans seasonal collections, based on vendor allocation and regional requirements/holidays, within the calendar milestones, 4 times a year (Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter), as well as non-seasonal collections. Team ensures necessary planning discussions to be held within cross divisional teams and sourcing hubs and initial seasonal planning is handover to the seasonal buying team. Global Planning Team ensures to oversee the longer term planning, which is over seasonal and cross divisional through all TH divisions, both lifestyles Tommy and Hilfiger.
The Position
Global Planning Team lead would drive the longer term planning with rolling monthly forecasting which feeds seasonal and cross seasonal capacity planning, financial planning as well as material planning. Lead would have global responsibilities where international markets planning is done with the market regions next to the European regional planning for European warehouse and customers. Team lead would collaborate with offshore sourcing teams in regions and vendors as well as onshore Product Development teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead global planning team, ensure the optimum team set up with continuous learning&development
- Develop, evolve and renew planning based on global and regional needs
- Manage Rolling Demand Planning on a monthly base, per sourcing area following the company global growth plan and sourcing strategy.
- Provide monthly forecast of TH rolling demand for the financial flow, in collaboration with BP&NOS team (forecast), and Buying Operations (actuals)
- Plan the seasonal capacity with cross seasonal view on supply planning, based on global needs, in collaboration with SVC teams (hubs) and key vendors directly
- Oversee the planning of the materials based on the global demand with support of the Material Planning Manager in the team, focusing on core materials
- Create cross seasonal calendars capturing a general outline of global planning requirements, based on different regional needs and changing sourcing landscape,
- Engage in projects related with planning both globally and regionally, provide proposals on process improvements and adjustments on E2E planning
- Stakeholder Management in a global scale, both onshore and offshore sourcing teams and key vendors, including International Market Regional Teams
The Ideal Candidate:
- A completed HBO / University degree or equivalent.
- Minimum of 8-10 years working experience in Planning & Team Management.
- High level of accuracy.
- Experience in Fashion Industry
- Strong analytical mind-set
- Excellent PC knowledge: Excel, (SAP is advantage)
- Organized and pro-active working approach
- Fluent in English
