The Department & Team 
The Tommy Hilfiger global & PVH EMEA visual merchandising, display & windows department is a creative hub within omni-channel organization. This department oversees the creative strategy, development, and execution of product presentation across Tommy Hilfiger global, Calvin Klein EMEA, and heritage brand and all points of sale. This includes full price retail stores, franchise locations, wholesale shop-in-shops, concession, and outlet channels. The Tommy Hilfiger global team sets global direction and works collaboratively with two other regional hubs in: New York and Hong Kong. To extend this outreach the team is set-up to also support the needs of local markets across Americas, EMEA, and Asia Pacific. This team works in parallel with the global marketing team on a 360 concept and consumer messaging approach. The Calvin Klein regional team collaborates with the New York global headquarters on adapted direction to support the EMEA business needs. This includes visual merchandising, campaign roll out, and display strategies across the region. This team works in collaboration with numerous functions across the omni-channel business as well as local markets. The team environment is collaborative, dynamic, innovative, resourceful, open, and respectful.

The Tommy Hilfiger global & PVH EMEA visual merchandising, display & windows teams are responsible for creating and communicating all Visual Merchandising tools including all seasonal guidelines, principles, and training tools for all divisions across the Tommy Hilfiger global, Calvin Klein EMEA, and heritage brands. Tools that will help provide a look and feel that represent both brands and protects its core DNA and ensures that retail/franchise stores, shop-in-shops, and outlets are delivering premium consumer experience through dynamic product presentation. This is supported by strong collaboration with store concept & design, marketing, merchandising, markets, and all areas of the omni-channel team to ensure that the omni-channel visual merchandising, display, and windows strategy, the countries and point of sale needs are met.

The Position
The Senior Specialist, Window Design Operations TH Global reports into the Senior Manager, Window Concept & Development. In this role you will manage the operational side of the design process. The role will have four main pillars to focus on: global window production, vendor management, sustainability and digitization.
The primary goal is to streamline workflows across window concept & development team and establish a highly efficient design process that generates high-quality design outputs.
This role works closely with the window designers and planning team members to deliver flawless window design executions. You will be the essential liaison between vendors and the Window Design & Development TH Global team.
This role will also partner very closely with the procurement team on vendor selection & relations. Next to that, this role will also focus on driving and developing a tool to digitize the window orders internally (and externally). 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the communication and network with the Window Design & Development TH Global team and production vendors to ensure smooth progress of the project.
  • Drive circularity & sustainability strategies throughout window rollout and process, contributing into the company's sustainable vision. 
  • Assign, track all statuses, tasks and deadlines regarding sample and production.
  • Partner with Specialist, Window Planning on development & production schedules. Support data management and window process efficiency, including local production planning in Americas, MEA+, and Asia Pacific. 
  • Manage and drive development of internal Window Prop Order tool, with windows team and strong collaboration with the markets.
  • Work closely with appointed production companies/vendors to develop qualified & premium window props, which can be sourced on a global scale.
  • Partner with central procurement department on Vendor selection and contract management.
  • Support Senior Manager, Window Concept & Development to define operational strategy and workflow for the on-site day-to-day operations.
  • Build day-to-day working relationships with on-site designers, Senior Manager Window Concept and Development and Specialist, Window Planning.
  • Initiate and recommend continuous improvement to the design system and work practices.
  • Be a change agent for new tools, systems and processes that can make us more efficient. 
  • Partner closely with wider windows, VM & VM communications on various seasonal projects.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5-6 years proven relevant work experience, preferably in a creative retail environment.
  • High understanding of materials, techniques and design methods for the development of window props.
  • Excellent knowledge of necessary software applications/platforms such as, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Keynote. Proficient with all MAC / PC platforms.
  • Practical skills for supporting in-store window and event installations.
  • Passion and interest in sustainability and circular business model initiatives.
