The Team
The Omnichannel Development, Controlling & Business Operations department formalizes the omnichannel strategy, drives the development of associated business processes & consumer services as well as leading their operational implementation. The department is also in charge of evaluating the business and financial performance of the omnichannel business. 

Within the department, the Omnichannel Expansion team designs the approach and drives the execution of the implementation of all Omnichannel Products, processes, tools and services within the markets with the aim to maximize impact and engagement. The team oversees all activities related to the go to market phase of the projects, from designing the overall change management strategy, driving roll out plans and timelines up to coordinating operational go live activities in stores together with counterparts in the Markets. 

The team is the central point of contact of the Markets with the Department when it comes to omnichannel development and execution. Being a privileged partner of the Markets, the Expansion team is best positioned to assess the market fit of any new initiative and identify improvements, specificities and new ideas that could benefit the Markets and the overall business. 

The Expansion team collaborates on a daily basis with the Omnichannel Product development team to ensure the products developed and rolled out delivers the maximum value and performance. 

The team is composed of project roll out coordinators, specialists and managers, working on a daily basis with their counterpart in the different Markets. The team environment is dynamic, open and value oriented.

The Position & Responsibilities
The Senior Manager Omnichannel Expansion position reports into the Senior Director Omnichannel Development & Operations and is responsible for all project management activities for the Omnichannel & Retail domain. 
In this role, the Senior Manager Omnichannel Expansion will be responsible for the team and their performance as well as the overall management of the Expansion activities. In more detail, the role will:

  • Lead & develop a team counting around 12 internal people and externals to expand their skill sets to further develop and deliver according to objectives 
  • Enable the team to drive roll out activities, process optimization and change management approach in an autonomous way, by supporting them on methodology, stakeholders management, removing impediments and ensuring they follow the right priorities 
  • Be accountable for the design and execution of the omnichannel roll out approach, timeline management and to report on large project initiatives to senior management 
  • Drive the design and implementation of a clear change management strategy, to ensure projects delivers sustainable impact thanks to high engagement of stakeholders and end-users. 
  • Ensure the team has a service mindset and develops market specificity knowledge in order to build strong Partnership with Markets and assess Market fit of new initiatives
  • Identify & diagnose need for product and process improvements, local specificities and new ideas to ensure product & processes delivers the maximum value 
  • Manage (senior) stakeholders to ensure that products are smoothly implemented and embedded within the organization
  • Manage Expansion budget 
     

This position will need to forge strong partnerships and collaboration with the Markets, who operationally execute the implementation of Omnichannel roll out, with the Product Development team which delivers new features and improvements and with the Analysis team, who create visibility and analyze performance of products roll out in the markets. It is key to have a strategic view on the business priorities, stakeholder assessment and on the team processes.

The Ideal Candidate description: 

  • Approximately 6 - 8 years' relevant experience, including 3 - 4 years leading / coaching a team
  • Experience both in project and change management with a track record of implementing cross-functional, high change impact projects 
  • Certification in change management is plus 
  • Outstanding people and relationship skills; and ability to interact with different levels of a multi-cultural, international organization
  • Open, charismatic and winning personality to be able to handle various stakeholders across the organization and to communicate successfully with stakeholders across levels and cultures
