Senior Automation Engineer/Architect

Description:

To support the development of our eCom platform and expansion of the automation team we are looking for 2 senior automation engineers that can also play a leading role in the ongoing architectural development of our framework and supporting processes.

Working with 10 other automation engineers and close collaboration with our developers you will be responsible for identifying and implementing automation solutions for agile teams, helping define and develop mature quality assurance standards, apply consistent QA solutions and measurably demonstrate improvements to the quality chain.

Responsibilities:

-   Coach and support the teams in agile test automation (as per the PVH framework)

-   Review and analyse requirements and (technical) system specifications

-   Collaborate with developers to develop effective test strategies and plans

-   Assist with the creation of test scenarios

-   Evaluate product code according to specifications

-   Create logs to document testing phases and defects

-   Develop advanced reporting solutions/dashboards to better communicate the quality (coverage) of our test effort

-   Help troubleshoot issues

-   Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the agile development lifecycle

-   Assist the QA Community with ongoing development of the Automated Test Framework

-   Assist the QA Community with ongoing improvements to QA processes

Requirements:

-   Proven experience as a QA tester or similar role

-   Experience in project management and QA methodologies

-   Experience of working in an Agile environment

-   Working knowledge of Behaviour-driven Development (BDD)

-   Ability to document and troubleshoot errors

-   Working knowledge of JIRA (X-Ray), Confluence a plus

-   Ability to write automation scripts in JS (JavaScript)

-   Good experience of API testing

-   Working knowledge of Selenium

-   Working knowledge of Webdriver.IO

-   Working knowledge of Cypress

-   Experience setting up and developing the CI/CD pipeline (Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git)

-   Experience of mobile device testing (iOS and Android)

-   Excellent communication skills

-   Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude

-   BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field preferred
