The Department and Team
From its new state-of-the-art 23,500 sq. ft. facility in Amsterdam, the Digital Hub strives to blend operational excellence with new state of the art innovations and technical solutions to ensure best-in-class digital fashion consumer experiences, every day. The SAP Basis Team is continuously improving the internal IT processes to ensure that changes and projects will not harm system stability and performance. Implement and maintain the SAP landscape, by being involved in new functions from cradle to crib. Collaborate closely with the SAP community and vendor management of large service providers

The Position
As a member of the SAP Basis team, you will work closely with the SAP functional departments to implement new technical solutions, which covers both the business- and technical requirements. Together with our support partner, it is our responsibility to monitor and update the systems within the SAP landscape, to ensure business continuity and demands. 
Furthermore, it is our role to become the bridge between the functional and technical departments and translate business requirements into technical work tasks and to oversee the technical impact of changes within our systems.
PVH is an innovative company with an Agile mindset, implementing new business- and technical solutions/projects with a high cadence. Therefore, you need strong technical understanding and a desire to continuously learn and master new technologies. 
As a member of the SAP Basis team, we expect that you are capable to solve disruptions as quickly as possible. Implementing preventive and proactive measures, which helps to keep our landscape stable and resilient as possible.

Role and Responsibilities:

• SAP Incident Management
• Record and solve SAP technical incidents
• Keep track of issues and collaborate with functional teams
• SAP Problem Management
• Carry out a technical triage and impact analysis
• Coordinate and solve critical problems together with the functional teams
• Keep the business informed about the progress
• Service Requests
• Carry out daily Transports requests,
• Setup new RFC, SLT and DBA connections,
• Setting up and monitor printers and output devices,
• Join project meetings and deliver a technical advice
• Change Management
• Review weekly transports and coordination
• Oversee technical impact of transports, based on content
• Coordinate transports with high impact outside office hours
• Job Management
• Review cancelled jobs and follow-up with functional teams
• Performance Monitoring
• Monitor the performance of the SAP system on a daily basis
• Apply technical solutions for performance bottlenecks
• Collaborate closely with our support partner and the functional teams
• SAP Installations, Upgrades and Migrations
• Carry out SAP installations on operational and project basis
• Provide technical support with Support Package, EHP and Release upgrades
• Backup and restore HANA systems (e.g. QAS refresh)
• Integrate SAP Cloud and on Premise systems
• Implement new certificates
• Open connections via the SAP Router and Cloud Connector
• Maintain user and program access in the gateway and web-services
• Review weekly EWA's, and SAP assessment reports
• Schedule and carry out new recommendations, provided by SAP
• Review SAP documents with ease and translate them into user stories
• Alignment with functional teams
• Being involve in project meetings
• Providing advice and support from a technical perspective
• Create landscape pictures and oversee technical impact of changes
• Review default SAP Basis transactions
• Short dump analysis
• System event logs
• HANA database alerts
• Collaborate in daily stand-up's, Retrospectives and sprint planning's using a JIRA board
   

The Ideal Candidate: 

• A bachelor degree in IT
• 10+ years' experience 
• Experience in SAP basis
