The Department and Team
The Omnichannel Development, Controlling & Business Operations department formalizes the omnichannel strategy, drives the development of associated business processes & consumer services as well as leading their operational implementation. The department is also in charge of evaluating the business and financial performance of the omnichannel business.
Within the department, the Omnichannel Products Team drives the design, developments, improvements and maintenance of all omnichannel and retail products (from consumer & staff facing applications, to HQ solutions). The team identifies existing problems and pain points, and scopes new initiatives to offer both an improved experience and more efficient operating model.
Partnering with the Tech Department, this team prioritizes the initiatives to be worked on and steers the multidisciplinary product development teams to ensure maximum value is delivered to the customer and business. Working closely with the Expansion and Operations team, the Product team ensures new solutions and features are technically ready and business relevant to be operationally implemented and rolled out in the European markets.
The Products team drives complex and innovative initiatives and digital products, which sit across multiple departments and technologies. The team is composed of Product Managers, Product Owners and Product Specialists, leading business and technical team members whilst applying the agile way of working. The team environment is dynamic, open and value oriented.
The Role
As the Product Specialist within the product pillar of the Store sales team, your role is to support and collaborate with the Product lead and the product team on not only existing propositions but also new features and new propositions. The product specialist will be contributing to the overall strategy and roadmap for the Store sales team.
The focus of the position is to work closely with product leadership and their stakeholders on key initiatives under the Store sales team which are the "Point of sale" system and “Storeforce”.
The point of sale team is responsible for rolling out the new POS systems to multiple countries and continuously driving innovation by building features solving key customer pain points. This team is also responsible for collaborating with other product owners in the Omni hub and supporting them to refine their features and propositions that could potentially affect the POS systems. A major activity of this team is to collaborate externally with our vendor responsible for building the new features and propositions on POS systems, and internally with the expansion and operations team.
The Storeforce team is responsible for rolling out and managing the usage of Storeforce across countries.
Storeforce is used for workforce management, keeping a track of gross sales, conversions, visitors, and other key indicators related to stores.
Key activities are collaborating with operations on topics related to Storeforce, identifying an efficient way of working within product and operations, working in close collaboration with the vendor, managing the overall roadmap of features per country, and prioritization of features based on cost-benefit analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the product team to improve product management, including defining, scoping, planning, design, development, rollout, and support of the “Store sales” solutions
- Support in agile ceremonies (demo, planning, grooming, retro, etc.) together with the Product Owner and Scrum Master
- Collaborate with the product team to identify the biggest opportunities for growth, identify key metrics of success and help in the prioritization of our product roadmap
- Collaborate with product owner for process definition and design, and drive implementation of these processes
- Ability to conduct workshops involving stakeholders from various departments(finance, security, expansion, and operations, etc..) and bringing them to an agreement on the way of working
- In collaboration with PO - defining a transparent prioritization process to work on backlog items that have the highest business value both internally and with the vendor.
- Identify areas of synergy between various pillars of the Omnichannel hub, and recommend how to achieve an efficient way of working
- Working closely with product owners within Omni hub for defining and refining incoming requirements, bringing it to the level where the “why” and 'what' part of the requirement is clear
- Determine how to improve existing processes within the team.
An ideal candidate - University degree
- 3 to 4 years work experience in management consulting and/or as Business Analyst
- Hands-on experience with Agile Scrum methodologies, concepts, and artifacts such as a product backlog, user stories, and epics.
- Flexibility and a personal drive to “getting things done”
- A team player and continuous improvement mindset
- Working from home following company policies and may shift (currently 50% at office)
- Experience in creating processes and implementing them to bring transparency and predictability
- Fluency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio)
- Ability to work in multi-cultural & multi-lingual environment
- Ambitious, motivated to go the extra mile, and able to perform in a demanding work environment
