The Department & Team
The Product Development team develops and delivers both innovative and sustainable products for Tommy Hilfiger. Responsible for the end to end development of the product, from initial concept through to physical garments, pioneering high quality & product excellence, as well as delivering on company & divisional KPI?s.
Closely partnering with a number of stakeholders, from design & merchandising, through to supply value chain, & buying & planning global teams this role plays an intricate part in delivering the Tommy Hilfiger brand DNA.
The Position
- Assist in setting strategic direction for Product Development and ensure strategic vision is implemented by providing high-level guidance to teams through highlighting areas of attention and KPIs
- Assist in Communicating overall brand/product strategy w/ Suppy Chain Value organisation (considering innovation/ sustainability/ priorities etc) ensuring clear understanding of direction & of brand's needs
- Ensure quality of product and achievement of margin & sustainability targets throughout the product development process, by collaborating closely with internal stakeholders (e.g design & merchandising), vendors and guiding Product Development team
- Carry responsibility for P&L items within respective business area, under guidance of Senior Director/VPs
- Responsible for maintaining efficient workflows and product quality by creating calendars capturing a general outline of timelines for the season
- Support Collaboration on sourcing strategy with Senior Director Product Development, based on Supply Chain strategy, and manage implementation in day-to-day & seasonal operations, e.g initial vendor allocations
- Maintain close relationships with supply value chain & vendors, in all aspects related to brand, & product expectations
- Collaborate post-season evaluation with supply value chain, assessing the season and possible improvements, and evaluate vendor performance
- Drive efficiency improvement by analysing processes and best practices, pursuing effective structures and ways of working, and working with cross-functional teams (e.g. Buying & Planning) to capture opportunities
- Manage learning and development of (multi-divisional) Product Development team(s)
- Provide (ad hoc) analyses and reporting for presentations to management and key stakeholders
- Ensure full data integrity from Product Development teams encompassing company initiatives/projects & stakeholder requirements
- Drive and develop innovation and sustainability in line with company & divisional targets (e.g Make It Possible roadmap)
- Drive digitization of product & 3D process throughout product lifecycle from launch to sell in) alongside company & divisional roadmap & targets, in collaboration w/ the Digitalization Center of Excellence
- Oversee and consult on operational activities of team, including product development and administrative activities & escalate accordingly.
- Recruit, maintain & nurture high performing teams, including managing learning and development of direct reports & wider teams development

The Ideal Candidate description: - 10+ years of experience minimum
- A bachelor/ master's degree in fashion, clothing or textiles or equivalent experience in fashion, clothing or textiles industry
- 8+ years managing international teams
- Proven knowledge in all aspects of product development, including product, costing, price negotiating, & delivering on business KPI's
- Effective leadership skills: inclusive team player, interdepartmental collaboration, stakeholder management
- Good aesthetic and sense in making commercial judgment
- Proactive problem solver with attention to detail
- Is able to work in a highly productive, fast paced environment with a hands-on approach
- Strong analytical & strategic skills, eye for detail
- Self-driven, pragmatic and business mind set
- Embodies PVH values of individuality, passion, accountability, partnership & integrity
- Ability to travel internationally
- Good command of written & spoken English
