Process Improvement Specialist - HR
Our business has gone through significant transformation and successful business growth over the last 18 months and our HR team has been pivotal to the success. We are now in a period of gearing up for our next chapter of growth and have identified a number of key processes which can be improved. We are looking for experts who can truly put themselves in the customer's shoes, in our case the customer being our associates and managers future, current and past. Working with data, insights, feedback and an objective mindset this role will collaborate across functions inside and outside of HR, to truly identify not only the opportunities but also the solutions for process improvement.
The Role
- Together the HR Leadership Team members and Subject Matter Experts, identify and define process optimization opportunities, solutions and ensure timely development of the new solutions
- Understand “as is” and future-state business processes, help analyze gaps, and provide recommended solutions which advance business capabilities
- Evaluate the process design from a customer perspective and make recommendations towards the best approach
- Create and maintain business process documentation
- Maintain an effective repository of process maps for future users
- Effectively collaborate and coordinate between IT, Facilities, Markets and other functions to ensure consistent levels of detail in the business process models
- Facilitate User Acceptance Testing
- Review learner experience process
- Educate and train key-users
- Identify new procedures and systems to improve and scale existing HR processes
- Help advance capabilities/processes toward “best-in-class” by supporting knowledge transfer and drive consistent improvement mindset and methods
- Regularly report and update on progress, timelines, and challenges.
The Ideal Candidate
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience, with at least 2 years of experience in HR or a similar function
- Experience in project management (project management, product management, process optimizations)
- Ideally worked with Workday / Service Now or other HRM/ case management solutions before
- Experience in driving projects to completion with minimal support
- Motivated self-starter; able to work autonomously, structuring your own work
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to thrive in an international matrixed organization
