Through select licensees, Tommy Hilfiger offers complementary lifestyle products such as eyewear, watches, fragrance, swimwear, socks, small leather goods, home goods and luggage.
The Team
The PVH Marketing Cloud & Automation Product Owner will join the Performance Marketing team at our European head office in Amsterdam and will report into the Director Performance Growth & Traffic Acquisition. Both Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein ecommerce sites are growing at a fast pace with very ambitious growth targets for the coming years. In-line with our ambitions we have also started heavily investing in our technology, cloud base infrastructure, data capabilities and automation to drive performance marketing growth.
The Position
In this role you will create the best in-class unified advertising and analytics platform for smarter marketing through our cloud base solutions collaborating with Performance Marketing Specialist, Developers, Data Engineers and Data Scientists. Together you will make sure the success is translated from the start through to testing, refinement, production and roll-out. The person will need to work agile, have data driven mindset and also with an innovative spirit. As a Product Owner you will essentially have to manage multiple stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered, roadblocks are identified and the ability to showcase to the business of the success achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Get the best out of your scrum team consisting of Data Engineer, Data Scientist, Developers and Marketing Activation teams by daily collaboration and motivation
- Backlog management of use cases by understanding business value, timelines against feasibility and technology considerations
- Coordinate workshops, hackathons and brainstorm sessions to understand full dependencies and scope of work
- Liaise with various stakeholders on requirements to ensure “Why” and the “What” are specified so that the scrum team can work on the “how”
- Constantly looking at business opportunities related to performance marketing with relation to audiences, bidding models, data and automation
- Monitor, analyze and evaluate the success of Cloud base use cases and initiate improvement requested based on the quantitative and qualitative analysis from the Marketing platforms and website analytics
- Share and carry out demos to the wider Ecommerce team to demonstrate the progress based on business priorities
- Approaching data with the aim to increase and maximize performance marketing KPIs such as net sales growth, return on investment, efficiency gains and acquisition of customers
- Fully understands the nature and levers of the performance marketing channels (Google, Facebook etc)
- Analyzing both internal and external datasets/trends, to better understand our customer buying behavior to support investment decisions
- Advise on modifications or additions to traffic tactics and analysis methodologies
- Strong understanding of Ecommerce KPIs and data points to think outside the box
- Proactively finding new ways to enrich and evolve existing machine learning models
- Strong approach with formulating business cases and the ability to communicate complex ideas to management and other stakeholders
The Ideal Candidate
- 5+ years+ experience as a Product Owner working with large, high-traffic data website, preferably ecommerce sites
- Experience with the SCRUM methodology and a whole way of working; preferably you have your own Product Owner certification
- A true passion for Cloud base OR Automation solutions
- Great affinity with performance marketing and understanding the types of data sources
- Extremely detail-oriented and organized, able to multitask and meet deadlines
- Strong commercial focus that is result-driven
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
