Your Team
The Tommy Hilfiger Global & PVH EMEA visual merchandising, display & windows department is a creative hub within omni-channel organisation. This department oversees the creative strategy, development, and execution of product presentation across Tommy Hilfiger global, Calvin Klein EMEA, and heritage brand and all points of sale. This includes full price retail stores, franchise locations, wholesale shop-in-shops, concession, and outlet channels. The Tommy Hilfiger global team sets global direction and works collaboratively with two other regional hubs in: New York and Hong Kong. To extend this outreach the team is set-up to also support the needs of local markets across Americas, EMEA, and Asia Pacific. This team works in parallel with the global marketing team on a 360 concept and consumer messaging approach. The Calvin Klein regional team collaborates with the New York global headquarters on adapted direction to support the EMEA business needs. This includes visual merchandising, campaign roll out, and display strategies across the region. This team works in collaboration with numerous functions across the omni-channel business as well as local markets. The team environment is collaborative, dynamic, innovative, resourceful, open and respectful.

The Tommy Hilfiger global & PVH EMEA visual merchandising, display & windows teams are responsible for creating and communicating all Visual Merchandising tools including all seasonal guidelines, principles, and training tools for all divisions across the Tommy Hilfiger global, Calvin Klein EMEA, and heritage brands. Tools that will help provide a look and feel that represent both brands and protects its core DNA and ensures that retail/franchise stores, shop-in-shops, and outlets are delivering premium consumer experience through dynamic product presentation. This is supported by strong collaboration with store concept & design, marketing, merchandising, markets and all areas of the omni-channel team to ensure that the omni-channel visual merchandising, display, and windows strategy, the countries and point of sale needs are met.


 The Interim Director, Window Concept Design TH Global will report into the VP, Visual Experience & Windows, TH Global & PVH EMEA. Your main contribution is to drive the overall window design and development process for all consumer touch points of the Tommy Hilfiger brand. This includes window roll out across our own retail & wholesale channels as well as special window activation needs in our markets. Main responsibilities include strategically driving seasonal plans them to the global teams so they can adapt global direction for implementation.
You will also be the interim lead to the Amsterdam team responsible for windows creative concept design, planning, production, wholesale activation, and guideline development. Strong partnership on execution across our markets in EMEA Asia Pacific, and Americas will also be crucial to elevating the brand desire. In parallel, this role also partners closely with the regional teams on setting premium global direction and deliver the following key objectives:

Deliver window guideline and tools for all product divisions within the TH global organisation for all businesses across retail and wholesale consumer touch points optimising brand awareness, traffic, sales and profit

Create window guidelines that balances art and commerce, contributing to enhancing the consumer journey and brand experience increasing overall sales and brand impression
Work in strong partnership across our global brand, creative services, design, merchandising, marketing, omni-channel, and market teams and lead the seasonal and non-seasonal global windows design & development strategy

Creative Responsibilities:

  • Drive and deliver the most creative and state of the art windows design: from campaigns and seasonal collections from concept through visualisation, delivery, and execution, with aim to enhancing the consumer experience and increasing brand awareness and overall sales per square meter
  • Deliver strong informative guidelines and tools that are understandable and easy to implement within all points of distribution including retail: full price and outlets, and wholesale consumer touch points
  • Collaborate with visual merchandising team on seasonal and non-seasonal strategy bringing brand stories to life for all TH product groups
  • Collaborate closely with brand marketing, regional consumer journey/marketing teams, design, merchandising, store concept & design, store-development, and omni-channel teams to deliver inspirational seasonal concepts that support the overall brand and business needs
  • Drive and deliver special window concepts supporting all markets and local events including local festivities, activation, and holidays
  • Deliver strong windows strategy in collaboration with visual merchandising team maximising impact though window concepts and product presentation supported by mannequins and window design elements
     

Operational Responsibilities:

  • Drive the global windows strategy and calendar to deliver accurate and timely materials (ie: toolkits, renderings, production files, etc.) to our markets globally
  • Work cross functionally across departments to deliver annual, seasonal and non-seasonal guidelines including training tools and assets for global and regional kick-offs
  • Drive innovation through process and manage the windows planning and production team on providing clear direction, budget direction and optimisation, guidance, feedback through consistent monitoring process to deliver the right window consumer experience within the right environment
  • Drive and manage the complete design and development process including prototyping, sampling, vendor briefings, and local production needs
  • Drive decisions through collaboration along with our finance, logistics, and procurement teams on maximising window budgets, fair supplier tender/briefings, and timely shipment procedures
  • Impact and drive windows sustainability strategy along with relevant colleagues within our circular business team, headquarters, as well as the markets to ensure targets are measured and met on a seasonal basis
  • Drive process collaboration by partnering closely with our regional teams: APAC, Americas and MEA+ and lead the local production process including concept approval, supplier briefings, and execution
  • Strategically drive and lead the Windows team by inspiring trust, making informed decisions with the goal of collaborating to inspire innovation
     

Experience

  • Minimum 10-12 years experience in VM/Design/Fashion management or similar role
  • A bachelor/ master's degree in Fashion/Fine Arts/Retail Management or equivalent experience in digital communication/operations/fashion or retail management
  • Strong balance of creative and commercial skills with a work history to support this focus
  • Management experience and track record of successful collaboratively lead leadership
    Strong organisational skills, ability of maintaining tight calendar and process management multiple priorities
  • Able to manage creative processes while utilising good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interact with different global markets in a positive and constructive manner, change advocate
  • Commercial mentality, awareness of the financial and resource impact of decisions
  • Strong International Experience, vendor relations, and production expertise
  • Affinity with the Brand; High taste level and obsession for high-quality execution and materials
  • Excellent command of the English language (written & spoken)
  • Ability to collaborate cross functionally with other dept
