Sr Merchandise Planner - TH Ecom
PLANNING:
Divisional / product category planning (pre-season planning, KPI monitoring, in season management)
Forecasting of sales, stock, markdown and margins (WSSI)
Collaboration with Buying teams to review in-season performance in order to optimize sales and minimize end stock
Review seasonal intake requirements to optimize stock flow
Forecast NOS products (stock/sales) monthly and optimize assortment
Capitalize on full price sales opportunities through inseason replenishment
Own markdown strategy for categories managed and execution
REPORTING / ANALYSES:
Weekly, MTD, YTD, STD trade performance analyses by country and division (sales, stock, markdown and margin)
Ad hoc analysis depending on business needs
Improve existing planning tools and reports
Test and provide feedback on newly created tools
Collaborate with an analytics team to identify reporting enhancements
BUYING COLLABORATION:
Manage divisional/product category hindsight, buy budget, range plans based on historic performance and anticipated future development, sign offs and buy placement with merchandisers
Manage size analyses and strategy
Post buy evaluation
Attend global product meetings to understand assortment strategy
REQUIREMENTS:
Ideally 5+ years of planning experience preferably within Ecommerce
Preferred education: Business, Fashion management
Strong numerical skills
Strong planning and organization skills, ability to multi-task
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in spreadsheet analyses to derive quantitative and qualitative business insights from data
Knowledge of SAP, BW, HANA; basic knowledge of Web analytics a plus
Quick to learn new systems and tools
Ability to summarize and visualize unstructured queries into a compact insight
Focused on achieving results & confident to take on accountability to deliver to expectations
Highly motivated and flexible, proactive approach
Team player with excellent social skills to build and strengthen the everyday relationship between core teams: buying and site merchandising
Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across departments outside the core every day team
Fluency in English is required
