The Department & Team

The Omnichannel Products team drives the discovery, design, developments, improvements and maintenance of all omnichannel and retail products (consumers and employees services and tooling). The team identifies and scopes problems, develops solutions, and implements these in the local markets using change management, tranings, and other support.

Partnering with the Tech Department, this team prioritizes the initiatives and problems to solve and steers the development teams to ensure the maximum value is delivered to the business.

The team consists of Product Managers, Product Owners, Product Specialists and Project managers leading business and technical team members working under agile/scrum methodology, as well as waterfall methodologies and more traditional project management methods.

The Position

As Project Manager In-Store sales you will be responsible to implement the POS (point-of-sale) solution in the local markets, as well as improve business processes that are impacted by the POS. You will be the link between the country operations teams, product teams, vendors and other internal stakeholders within PVH such as Profit Protection, Finance, HR, etc. You will be responsible to expand the new POS system that is used across all European stores into the remaining markets. You are also the counterpart to the markets, understanding their painpoints and biggest challenges when it comes to sales processes. Together with the Product Owner you prioritize the painpoints into value added and complexity, which will then be added to the backlog. As the Project Manager you are responsible to coach and develop a team of 1 to 2 Project & Operations Specialists, and you will report into the Senior Product Manager. The start date should ideally be early-July due to a handover with the former Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the expansion of the POS system in all the markets

  • Drive the communication with the local market operations teams, understand their painpoints, objectives

  • Collaborate with the Product Owner to translate problems into solutions that add value to the business and teams

  • Perform store visits to understand how store associates are using the POS, which processes are impacted, and to understand where improvement is needed

  • Build a strong relationship with PVH central teams to understand their needs and painpoints (profit protection, Finance, other)

  • Responsible for people management for 1-2 team members, coaching them both in the area of project management and operations

  • Be able to combine agile methodologies as well as waterfall approach, to deliver solutions that drive the highest value for our customers

  • Drive the change management and user interaction rate of the products in the markets

  • Manage a challenging group of stakeholders, ranging from local market retail oeprations teams, senior management in HQ, various Tech teams, various business teams

  • Support the Product Owner in vendor management activities and drive the roadmap together

  • Regularly report overall program status, anticipate and communicate risks to key stakeholders in IT, different business functions and external vendors.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • University/Engineering degree with 5-8 years of related work experience

  • Business/fluent proficiency in English (Additionally Turkish would be an advantage)

  • Proven track-record in project management working with project management methodologies, preferable also good understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies

  • Experience with expansion projects to new markets

  • Experience in retail environment, preferably with knowledge of Instore Sales solutions such as the POS

  • Experience in people management and coaching them in product and project management capabilities

  • Excellent communicator and collaborator

  • Technical affinity with POS software, SAP desired

  • Flexible mindset, be able to excel in a matrix organization in which roles and responsibilities are not always clearly defined

  • Attendance on-site required / hybrid 2 days a week in the office
