The Team:

The Analytics & Business Intelligence (ABI) department at PVH Europe is responsible for delivering the organization towards a data driven, fact-based future. Consisting of a mix between technology experts, frontend designers, backend gurus and experienced fashion team members. We deliver a best in class (big) data platform that we have optimized to support associates across the value chain with high performing, accurate information, structured in a variety of front-end tooling for use by over 3000 associates on a regular basis.

The Position (Maternity Cover):

The ABI department is looking for a Product Owner Omnichannel Analytics (Maternity Cover) to lead the developments of high-quality Enterprise Performance Analytics solutions to the organization.

The business functions you will represent are our Direct-to-Consumer Channels, i.e., Full Price, Outlet, E-Com and our Omnichannel Services. As the ABI Product Owner, you will collaborate very closely with the Business Product Owner and jointly define the analytics roadmap for the domain.

With your expertise in data, analytics and reporting, you’ll be the (technical) expert to collaborate with stakeholders on the scoping, specification, prioritization and realization of their data driven user stories. Together with your team of backend and frontend developers, you’ll translate these functional requirements into operational development tasks, and lead the realization of the solutions from start to use.

You will be reporting to our Senior Director Enterprise Analytics & BI, to integrate new solutions into PVH’s overall Enterprise architecture.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Structure and maintain strong relationships with the PVH Europe Omnichannel teams.

  • Advise key stakeholders & leadership on best approaches towards solving complex (data related) challenges.

  • Translate objectives into measurable KPIs that integrate into PVH Europe’s Enterprise Performance Analytics framework.

  • Translate requirements into manageable agile sprint deliveries and organize a well-structured backlog together with the rest of the team.

  • Lead the development team of backend (BW/HANA) and frontend (Tableau) developers.

  • Follow a (version of) understand, hypothesize, validate, design, validate, develop, validate, deploy & learn flow.

  • Keep up to date with developments in the operational source systems and new integrations, to functionally lead the enablement of new and improved analytics and reporting.



The Ideal Candidate:

  • 5-8 years of experience within Omnichannel and/ or Retail, ideally in a multinational company or consulting firm, and as Product Owner

  • Solid technical understanding of data warehousing, technology, frontend data visualization tooling, i.e., Tableau; ideally (past) hands-on experience

  • Experience in leading a team of developers, enabling their strengths, development, keeping a good team atmosphere; experience in scrum/ agile way of working a plus

  • Firm belief in the power and potential of data, analytics and advanced modelling

  • Bridge builder, excellent communicator with a wide range of stakeholders

  • Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken)

  • Available to work on-site 2-3 days a week
