The Position:
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to manage our Cloud Engineering team that supports the infrastructure in AWS for our e-commerce platform. As a Product Owner, you will work closely with various product teams and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of infrastructure projects that support the e-commerce platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize the roadmap for infrastructure projects that support the e-commerce platform.
Work with the Cloud Engineering team to ensure that infrastructure projects are delivered on-time, within budget, and meet the requirements of the product teams.
Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and provide regular updates on project progress.
Manage the backlog of infrastructure projects, ensuring that it is prioritized based on business needs and aligned with the overall product strategy.
Act as the primary point of contact for the Cloud Engineering team and work with them to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and optimization of the infrastructure.
Ensure that the Cloud Engineering team follows best practices for AWS infrastructure management, including security, cost optimization, and reliability.
Collaborate with other teams, such as DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering, to ensure that the infrastructure is highly available and performs optimally.
Work with the product teams to understand their needs and ensure that the infrastructure supports their requirements.
The Ideal Candidate:
3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, preferably in an e-commerce or cloud engineering environment.
Strong understanding of AWS infrastructure management, including EC2, S3, RDS, and VPC.
Demonstrated experience working with product teams and stakeholders to prioritize and deliver infrastructure projects.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
