The Position:

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to manage our Cloud Engineering team that supports the infrastructure in AWS for our e-commerce platform. As a Product Owner, you will work closely with various product teams and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of infrastructure projects that support the e-commerce platform.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize the roadmap for infrastructure projects that support the e-commerce platform.

  • Work with the Cloud Engineering team to ensure that infrastructure projects are delivered on-time, within budget, and meet the requirements of the product teams.

  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and provide regular updates on project progress.

  • Manage the backlog of infrastructure projects, ensuring that it is prioritized based on business needs and aligned with the overall product strategy.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for the Cloud Engineering team and work with them to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and optimization of the infrastructure.

  • Ensure that the Cloud Engineering team follows best practices for AWS infrastructure management, including security, cost optimization, and reliability.

  • Collaborate with other teams, such as DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering, to ensure that the infrastructure is highly available and performs optimally.

  • Work with the product teams to understand their needs and ensure that the infrastructure supports their requirements.



The Ideal Candidate:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, preferably in an e-commerce or cloud engineering environment.

  • Strong understanding of AWS infrastructure management, including EC2, S3, RDS, and VPC.

  • Demonstrated experience working with product teams and stakeholders to prioritize and deliver infrastructure projects.

  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
