Department Description:


Retail Europe is responsible for the planning, merchandising, store design and visual merchandising for full price


and outlet stores across Europe. In close cooperation with the product divisions and marketing, this department


leads the buying and merchandising process and ensures an efficient communication from headquarter to the countries.



Position Description and responsibilities:


To ensure that our PVH Outlet Product Development team is fully supported, we are currently seeking a Jr Product Developer maternity cover for Footwear & Accessories.


The Outlet Product Developers manage the sourcing, development and ongoing production of all outlet collections covering all product groups, both for Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger, including International Markets.


As Jr Product Developer you will be the gatekeeper for system input, sample handling, assist in


product development such as lab-dips, BOMs and measurement charts. You will handle FTW&ACC, covering all related activities. You will be in frequent contact with the Outlet Buying teams, Outlet International Market buyers, Buying Offices and Direct Vendors.



Maintain the PLM System (Product Management Software) and make sure it is


aligned with the Collection Line list on all production information areas.



Maintain the BOM´s (Bill of Materials) for all styles.


Support in sample management: Keeping a record/track which samples have been received and chasing up on late samples with vendors. This includes photo-shoot samples requests/tracking as well as sending and receiving parcels.



Daily e-mail communication with vendors/BO´s (Buying Offices) on product related subjects



Daily communication with our International Market buyers to ensure product requirements are clear and followed up on accurately



Checking and feedback on prototypes, Pre-Production samples (PPS), lab-dips and strike-offs and make sure they are according to our requirements; follow up with vendors.



Keep close contact with the Buying team on product updates and developments.



Requirements:


The ideal candidate has a background in garment production, processes and systems, either from school or work


experience. They are precise and tends to work accurately and timely. They are pro-active, initiative and has


good communication skills as daily contact with Buying offices, vendors and other department teams are a big part of the daily tasks.


Education: Higher textile education (AMFI, De Maere, TMO, MTS Mode & Clothing or similar).


Accurate and efficient


Working experience (i.e: internship) in development/sourcing/production of apparel.


Good communication skills


Flexible and team worker


Microsoft Office skills and Adobe.


Fluent in written and spoken English
