The Department and Team:

The Content Optimisation Specialist is part of the E-commerce Content Activation team. The role of the Content team is to develop, implement and optimide creative content strategies with two main objectives: increase brand value and awareness through inspiration, drive conversion.


The Position:

The Content Optimisation Specialist will be reporting to the Assistant Manager E-commerce Content and will be working closely with Content Specialists, Content Publicists, Site Merchandisers and CX stakeholders. The goal of the role is to optimise business-as-usual and campaign content on tommy.com by analysing user behaviour, content trends, stock availability and competitor benchmarking.


Role and Responsibilities:

  • Weekly monitoring of performance (user behaviour and stock status) & on-the-pulse optimisation

  • Monthly/Seasonal monitoring of content performance: learnings, trends, gap analysis, suggestions for improvement for Content and Creative Marketing teams

  • Monthly mockups creation based on GTM, UX and Content insights (including ensuring copy relevancy and optimal overall landing)

  • Creative Marketing monthly briefs: utilize content insights to brief most relevant and consumer-engaging stories

  • Competitor analysis/Content trend reporting

  • AB testing ideas based on all above insights and competitor trends

  • UGC ownership and optimisation strategy development on content pages



The Ideal Candidate:

  • University degree with 2-4 years of work experience in E-commerce

  • Experience with analytics and reporting: ability to extract relevant data and apply critical judgment to provide content insights and future learnings

  • Experience with creative agency briefs

  • Experience with creating/reviewing E-commerce wireframes (from a visual and storytelling perspective, no UX experience required)



Skills:

  • Data-driven mindset: experience with analytics tools (e.g. Adobe analytics, Google Analytics and/or Contentsquare)

  • Project management: ability to implement and manage timelines of deliverables for content briefs

  • Stakeholder management: ability to gather input from several teams (UX, CRO, Trade) and find common ground to serve the key business priorities on-site

  • Creativity and affinity for beautiful online content

  • Innovative thinking: ability to come up with suggestions and new ideas for the content pages

  • Attention to detail
