The Department and Team



Color Department reporting into Raw Materials Department is responsible for Color Approvals and Color Optimization across PVH Europe Supply Chain. The team is working on Digital Color Approval Process for five years and working with Color Digital Dmix platform. The aim of the team is to digitize whole color approval process, maintain digital and physical color library and optimise dye formulas and processes.



Position Description:



The Color Library Assistant is part of the Color Department under the Raw materials department. Reporting into the Color Director, the Color Library Assistant will work on maintaining color library and spectrophotometers and supporting Color Team.




Role and Responsibilities:



  • Maintaining Color library


  • Ordering Color Standards from Archroma and Pantone


  • Communicating and working with PD, Designers for Color transfers and commercial approvals


  • Supporting Color Team


  • Using spectrophotometer when needed


  • Maintaining complete and accurate approval records


  • Archiving Physical samples




The Ideal Candidate:



  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in related field


  • Experience in color & materials design or development


  • General Understanding of fabric knitting, weaving, dyeing and finishing


  • Knowledge in Centric PLM system is an asset


  • Demonstrates very good written and verbal communication skills


  • Highly organized with a strong ability to multi-task


  • Collaborative and team player
