Department Description:

The Buying Operations team is responsible for placing and managing the global Tommy Hilfiger purchase orders and ensuring timely deliveries.


The Position:

The IM Buying Operation Specialist oversees processes and drives communication related to the seasonal Tommy Hilfiger Purchase orderbooks for non EMEA regions, maximizing on time product availability.

In this position you work closely with our international market operational colleagues and partners, and the HQ Planning, Buying and Operations teams. Being a key contact for operational questions from the markets, you connect with an extended group of other HQ functions and with teams in the production regions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide weekly insights on the purchase orderbook status to markets and business stakeholders. Initiate actions from the insights.


  • Consolidate Market information regarding key commercial programs on-time-arrival status.


  • Provide Purchase order placement insights and support to specific markets.


  • Responsible for IM Brand production escalation communication.


  • Evaluate and support market needs and requirements within the PVH framework whilst focusing on achieving corporate objectives.


  • Driving and promoting global process alignment and improvement.


  • Support ATS (Available to Sell) ordering process for International Markets.

  • Highly developed cultural competencies

  • Education: HBO / University degree or equivalent in International Business, Supply Chain or Account Management.

  • 3 years + of relevant working experience in a fast-moving international environment

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)

  • Experience in the Fashion industry is an advantage
