The Department and Team
The European Retail Brick & Mortar team oversees the supply chain for the European stores (Full Price, Outlet, Concession, Franchise) for Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein. The team drives merchandise planning strategies, builds ranges and collections, buys and produces collections for outlet and special capsules for full price, manages the orderbooks and logistics, in-season management and drives strategies to evolve an omni-channel consumer journey. The team environment is dynamic, open and respectful.
The merchandising team?s main role is to create cohesive collections for the stores by selecting commercial product that is appropriate in an outlet environment while upholding the Brand image.

The Position
As Merchandiser for CK Outlet you will be supporting the Merchandising team in the assortment building process for CK Underwear and CK Kids. You will work closely with the Planning team to define the best Outlet assortments based on commerciality, profitability and brand relevance.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Planning team to analyze weekly merchandising reports and present key findings, areas of opportunity and proposed actions during trade meetings. 
  • Produce detailed hindsight analysis to support seasonal strategies and growth proposals.
  • Partner with Planning & Operations to hold bi-weekly Calls with our Buying & Merchandising Offices across Europe to influence and advice on trading decisions.
  • Work cross-functionally in order to track Inbound/Outbound progress to support the merchandising team.
  • Working with the VM team to deliver seasonal and in Season store communication, ensuring you impart your vision and Merchandise strategy through the guidelines.
  • Support in the seasonal assortment building process from initial strategy to final selection, presenting the assortments in key meetings. 

     

The Ideal Candidate: 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel skills) & Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Fluent in English, verbal and written 
  • Experience in Merchandising and preferably experience in Outlet fashion environment
  • Confident in presenting in front of large groups
  • Team player, can-do mentality and willing to learn
  • Hard-worker, proactive, hands-on mentality, flexible, multitasking, solution oriented, ability to prioritize
