The Price Optimization team is a new cross-department unit composed of data scientists, data engineers, SAP integration experts, developers and business users within the PVH Direct to consumer (D2C) organization.
The team is empowered to deliver the consumer-facing promotional price offer using an agile development process.


The Team 
The Price Optimization team is a new cross-department unit composed of data scientists, data engineers, SAP integration experts, developers and business users within the PVH Direct to consumer (D2C) organization.
The team is empowered to deliver the consumer-facing promotional price offer using an agile development process.

The Position 
The portfolio of pricing products within PVH D2C is expanding from ecom into retail countries and the AI models powering them will generate larger data sets that can be mined for business insights and understanding the consumer better.
The business analyst will generate insights for ecommerce, country teams, by building and sharing rich reports on the price reviews, comparing the reviewed pricing rounds vs expectations, comparing the pricing decisions between country models, ecom.
The role will use data visualization to help the users of pricing products learn more about their assortments during promotions, and the price optimization team to share the new insights within PVH.
The role will also funnel the competitor intelligence already existing in the company in ecom and country teams along with external sources to create context for planners and merchandisers to take better commercial actions.
The role will work closely with the data scientists in the Price Optimization Team, as well as with the Senior Product Owner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and manage tableau dashboard for tracking and analyzing sales data (In season trading and end of season trading)
  • Mine actual sales data and AI pricing model data to build intuitive reports for product users: planners, country retail merchandisers
  • Translate data-driven correlations into insights for business experts with different levels of data literacy
  • Find commonalities between different model outputs as run by different channels, countries
     

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Knowledge of tableau, data visualization necessary
  • Analytical and organized mindset who finds joy in solving puzzles
  • A team player who enjoys helping others turn data into business insights
  • Familarity with fashion industry direct to consumer business
  • General knowledge of agile development process
  • Experience with Jira, Asana, Confluence and a plus
  • Great communication in English
  • Interest in new technologies and adopting new technology
