The Position:
As an Endpoint Automation Engineer you will be responsible to design, build and maintain the backend infrastructure of services related to client engineering, focusing on automation and user experience, where you can be creative and pragmatic at the same time while you exercise the agile and continuous improvement mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• To make sure we are providing the best and most secure client computer experience, with the latest and greatest technology available in the market, combined by hardware + software to any kind of workload; 
• To ensure our users would have the same desktop experience, wherever the connection comes from and regardless of which endpoint type they are using to reach our resources;
• To cleverly automate and mechanize solutions that will offload repetitive tasks leveraging our focus on more important duties;
• To empower our Tech Support team with the appropriate tools and knowledge to perform the most common activities on their domains, fully independently while also act as a point of scalation and third-line support for endpoints;
• To keep a good level of standardization, sharing among the team, guidelines and best practices in order to do not only organize and standardize our backend, but to make sure the environment will retain its current level of manageability, ensuring the importance of recurrent ?housecleaning? activities.
      

The Ideal Candidate:

• JAMF 300 certification;
• +3 year of experience management MacOS and iOS endpoints using JAMF MDM platform, on-prem and cloud based;
• Experience automating endpoint policies and JAMF integrations using bash script;
• Background on securing and updating endpoints with processes and tools related to encryption, patching, MacOS upgrades and Office 365;
• A proactive and preventive approach to problem solving and root cause analysis;
• High attention to detail coupled with strong communication skills
• The ability to multitask and handle ever-changing priorities in collaboration with cross-departmental teams;
• A desire to learn from peers and capability to mentor junior team members;
   

We will consider as a plus:

• Experience on design, implementation and operation of Windows Client Engineering/Endpoint Management using platforms and tools such as: SCCM, Intune, MECM;
• Familiarity with frameworks and methodologies such as ITIL, Agile, SCRUM and ITSM platforms as Jira and ServiceNow
• Hands on experience implementing Intune Autopilot and Zero Touch Deployment;
•  Previous experience with PowerShell DSC;
• Asset Management, licensing and reporting skills using PowerBI.
