For the coming years the TH organization has defined 5 strategic priorities. One of these priorities is to Accelerate our business transformation initiatives to effectively anticipate customer and consumer expectations on speed, flexibility, sustainability and inclusivity. This priority breaks out into a number of sub-priorities, one of which is “3D Design, Development and Selling”. The Director Digital Product is the owner of this priority. 

The Position
The 3D artist specializes in the craft of 3D design and knows best how to simulate and drape 3D garments that convey the designer's intent. They are at the forefront of 3D design working directly with designers, tech design, product developers and merchandisers in the division supporting in the quality and construction of their collections in 3D. Additionally, the 3D artist will styling our 3D styles for digital selling, such as opening up garments and creating key looks on custom avatars. Making sure designs in 3D look true to life and are ready for sell-in.

Key Responsibilities
 

  • Work within a division together with the x-functional product creation teams to make sure all their 3D content is ready for digital selling
  • Explore different ways to present 3D garments and optimize the render output to fit the designer and brand aesthetic. 
  • Work on a wide range of product groups and styles
  • Have continuous learning and growth opportunities within the 3D skillset 
  • Support design teams between milestones with changes to 3D styles and help with complex construction in 3D
  • Support the technical design teams with new shapes and block library styling
  • Obsessing the drape and styling of each 3D style. Making sure the 3D styles are up to selling standard. Much as a stylist will do for a traditional photograph
  • Creation of 3D key looks, poses and support in digital activations at Market Launch
  • Color corrections where needed for digital selling 
  • Solving a range of 3D software issues for the teams when they arise 

 

The Ideal Candidate:
 

  • A 3D and/or apparel background, and have a passion for 3D apparel design
  • Advanced knowledge in 3D software Browzwear and Clo. 
  • Apparel pattern and construction knowledge required
  • 3D rendering, animation, texturing, 2D Adobe experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills (written as verbal)
  • Organized and have the ability to run multiple projects
